Last-minute shoppers won't save Christmas
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28379841/

NEW YORK - "Last-minute shoppers headed to the nation's stores and malls on the day before Christmas, looking for the final items they needed and searching for good deals — but for retailers, the season was essentially over long ago."

I'm curious...
What is it about Christmas that needs "saving"? The ever constant worry of the bottom line has left your business minds vacant.Christmas has endured your Wall Street mistakes since Day One,
(that's around December 25th a long time ago for you folks who can't recall),
and it always will. It is this Christmas message we should be reading about and not yours. But I love you despite.....
Merry Christmas everyone!
Remember the true "Reason for the Season"

Regards,

C.

"The popular leftist economist said he would try to prove in international courts that the debt is illegal."
A quote today from a CNN article that was covering the story about the president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, who is refusing to pay his interest payments on his countries debt. A mere
7 billion. What do you want to bet they owe most of it to the U.S......
I need to live in that Utopian society, I'm wondering just how often he pals around with Hugo Chavez?...

Regards,
C.

Hello!
I'm truly sorry for my lack of chit chat as of late, educational commitment and post election bliss has held my attention a little more captive than usual lately.
Nonetheless, The current political temperament in the Middle East and South Central Asia has once again yanked on my shirtsleeve. This is a quote from the President of Pakistan on the Larry King show LAST NIGHT:"I'm firmly committed to fighting terrorism per se,"
It is the "per se" aspect of this comment I find quite alarming. Even as an obvious outsider when it comes to knowing the absolute truth of what our own governments knowledge of actionable intelligence on the ground is, I don't find it too difficult to connect the dots and see that the Pakistani government, while claiming to be the United States ally in the war on extremist religious fanatics, are merely telling America and the rest of the world what we want to hear in this matter. My words for Mr. Zardari : quit saying you and Pakistan are a "victim" of terrorism, and quit complaining about the absolutely surgical strikes that unmanned drones are carrying out with little or no collateral damage that apparently are having great efficiency in targeting of heinous criminals.
There is no religion in the world that supports the minds of this unfathomable ideology. For those of this mindset that might be reading this.....
Quit using some distorted idea of religion to support your cowardice and greed. The West is not turning a blind eye to the history of suffering of the people of the Middle East, and Westerners have a fair share of guilt to bear in this way, but no more than any other empire in history, including the Persian and Arabic ones. To think that you are here to help Allah is is only a testament to weak minded thinking. Allah needs no ones help. To think you are in this world as His right hand is a testimony of eyes blinded by hatred, I say that you only smell the stench of your own arrogance.

regards,
C.
